- In 2001 I decided to be a volunteer teacher in the Costa Rican rainforest. What started out as an eight month adventure, turned into six years. You'd have to travel to Costa Rica and fall in love as I did to understand why someone would stay so long. I spent a lot of time journaling during my time in Costa Rica. I decided to share my thoughts and experiences of this time in my life with whoever chooses to read it. Hope you enjoy it and good luck to any of you that are following your dream to go to Costa Rica. I'm sure you won't regret it.
